SNP leader Salmond pressured over independence referendum

It is an important question and one that has much bearing on the election outcome. When is the best time to have an independence referendum? Alex Salmond has promised one within the first 100 days of an SNP government. Others, even within the SNP itself, believe the Scottish National Party should establish themselves as a government first and gain experience and the confidence of the Scottish people before a referendum.
